On the occasion of the French National Day on 14 July, the Consulate General of the French Republic in Stuttgart hosted its traditional reception on 13 July at the Ludwigsburg Residential Palace.
Numerous representatives from politics, business, culture and civil society attended the event to celebrate Franco-German friendship and the close ties between France and the German state of Baden-Württemberg. Among the guests and speakers were Cem Özdemir, Minister of the State of Baden-Württemberg, Gaël de Maisonneuve, Consul General of the French Republic in Stuttgart, and Matthias Knecht, Lord Mayor of the City of Ludwigsburg.
As in previous years, Michael Mack, Honorary Consul of the French Republic, supported the reception by providing Crémant d’Alsace from Domaine d’Ollwiller.
