Discovery Day DFJW

French schoolchildren visit local company Europa-Park

The Franco-German Youth Office, and Michael Mack as Honorary Consul of France, invited 24 high school graduates from Strasbourg and 52 students from Châtenois in Alsace to Europa-Park for a Discovery Day. The aim of this day for Europa-Park is to introduce young French people to German-French cooperation in the context of work and to motivate them to learn the German language in order to open up new career opportunities for themselves on the European job market. In 2018, a total of almost 6,500 students took part in Discovery Day, including 41 cross-border company visits.
